Life in a nutshell #16

Lately I have received a few nice things.

A friend of mine wished me a happy new year by sending me a very, very cute crocheted Little People. It went to join the ones I had already bought from her a few months ago. You can follow her on Instagram here and if you like her work she has an account for her store here.

I also found a few gems during an Instagram sale a friend had organized to benefit animal welfare organizations. Remember this Casimir? It was sold with a little figurine and a piece of gum in it.
The animal illustrations are uncut boards of small pictures like the ones we had as rewards in elementary school.

I went to see the Kokoschka exhibition at the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris. I didn’t really like his style.

I was looking for references for new illustrations and came across a photo of these egg cups. This has become my new Holy Grail of a garage sale hunter!

Super 7 has announced two new collections for this summer. I am very, very excited to discover them. If you’ve been following me for a long time you probably know my passion for Sesame Street and Richard Scarry (there are his books in many of my yard sale returns).

I’m working on new illustrations for my store. Have you been to see it?

See you soon!
